Kendra, a young and conservative, but repressed woman finds her life spiraling out of control. She catches her fiancè, Michael, of cheating on her, she hates her stressful job/boss, and overall she feels she wasted her life trying to be perfect and meek.

However, during this time she meets Jay, a very handsome, wealthy but grumpy man.
