It is the year 2002, when two strangers from our world meet by chance at Ye Olde Wishy-Washy Laundromatte. Mystic is a music student and Sage a laboratory scientist at the same university. They are abruptly drawn into another world and a different time, where the line between magic and science is blurred. Join them in their first adventure, set in a medieval world, where they race against time, to save the realm and find their way home. They encounter hexes, an oath-breaker paladin, a talking spider and geese. Mystic is unable to learn to do the magic needed to complete their quest, set by the Lord of the Castle, John Upton. Giving up on learning conventional magic, Mystic and Sage journey through the land, in search of a solution. Will Mystic learn to master his magic in time to save the realm, or will they be stuck in Lord Upton's world for ever?
