We all want to see Jesus face to face! Don't we? When people look at us, do they see Jesus? Do our lives reflect the beauty of our Master, our Lord, our Savior? Paul said, "We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Friendship with Jesus is essential in our spiritual life. He our teacher. He brings down the divine life and imparts it to us. John leaned against Jesus (John 13:23), and in this close friendship he grew into the Master's likeness.
As you read this short book by one of our favorite authors, JR Miller, prepare to be challenged. Do people really see Jesus in us, in everything we do and say? This should be required reading for every Christian, new and old!
