However, a devastating civil war, known as the Dark War, erupted in 9 BCD after a lord's assassination, tearing the empire apart. The war ended in 10 PC, and the empire fell when Emperor Constant Etrus died. The Nexu Council, formed in 15 PC, brought stability and peace, reshaping Midgardum's political landscape and preserving the legacy of unity and cooperation.
