WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR MIND PLAYS TRICKS ON YOU? CAN YOU TRUST YOURSELF? CAN YOU TRUST OTHERS?

Chloe is on the brink of a mental breakdown. At thirty-one, she is unable to get a job as a flight attendant due to her weight, her boyfriend is about to leave her, and her friends are hanging out without her. Chloe starts questioning her reality.

When her cat Anubis disappears, she is pushed over the edge, and her mental health worsens. She starts hallucinating and hearing voices in her head. She wants to give up.

During a walk through Central Park, upset and delusional, Chloe finally finds her missing cat Anubis. She is hopeful again and ready to jumpstart her life. But when Chloe takes the cat home, she realizes she took the wrong cat.

Her little mistake earns Chloe a spot on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. Whose cat did she take?

Jeremy Taylor lives and writes in New York City and is the author of two humorous novels, The Girl and Apple Martinis and The Cornerstones of Happiness. He is also the author of two memoirs, Diary of a Mad Gay Man and Noodles with Grandma.
