After having spent a stormy night together alone in an old shack, Seth Barlow and Faith Harrison begin the journey back to the town of Willow's Peak. They may have survived the storm, but their troubles are only beginning.

Gossip around the town begins to spread about what Seth and Faith did alone in the shack at night. The gossip only gets worse considering that Faith is the Reverend's daughter, and she is expected to behave in a proper manner. Nothing illicit or shameful did happen that night, but that's not enough for the townspeople of Willow's Peak. For them, they've already judged Faith Harrison and Seth Barlow.

Seth won't stand for such loose talk especially because he loves Faith. He just can't bring himself to acknowledge his feelings openly, because he doesn't want to endanger Faith.
