We all struggle to get a grip on joy, anxiety, productivity, and resilience from time to time.

Today, thousands around the world have found solace and utility in the ancient Greek philosophy of Stoicism against these struggles, from sportsmen, coaches, politicians, businessmen, and artists.

In Africa, they use the ancient philosophy of Ubuntu and its Proverbs to reinforce sanity, motivation, humility, inspiration, meaning, and cautionary discipline.

In this book, the author meditates on the combination of the two ancient philosophies as a pathway to get a healthy grip on joy, anxiety, and productivity.

To the author, Stoicism enshrines humility (Ubuntu) for the self, others, goals, joy, and productivity.

Tiisetso first introduced his meditative writings on Stoicism in his book titled The Anxious Entrepreneur, published in 2016.

Later, he coined the phrase 'Ubuntu Stoicism' as a creative and meditative endeavour in getting a grip on joy, productivity, and anxieties.

Introducing Ubuntu Stoicism not only borrows virtues from ancient titans (Seneca, Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus) and African Proverbs but also from modern icons outside of Stoicism, from the likes of Nelson Mandela and the rapper Snoop Dogg.
