Sometimes, when you have no one to talk to, a trusted diary can be your best friend. It knows you're deepest thoughts, what you are feeling; it knows your wants, your needs, and desires. You can ask your diary questions but it will not answer you. It will only listen, for in silence there are no lies, only truths to be read between the lines. It asks for nothing from you but a page and some ink, and in return, it will guard your secrets and withhold judgment. But trust the diary as you trust the stranger, for you can hide the soul you lay bare from all but those with prying eyes.
