The chemical formula of water, known to all of us as H2O, has been familiar since our school days and leaves no doubt about its chemical accuracy in various states: liquid, gas (water vapor), and solid (ice).
However, despite these different physical states, they all share the same chemical formula!
This fundamental problem has emerged in natural sciences, lacking a chemical solution but finding a physical resolution in the field known as atomic physics.
