Marty is a typical blacksmith's apprentice until the fateful day when he discovers a long-lost magical sword in a cave near his village.

To complicate matters, the sword also holds the soul of a girl named Lila from centuries ago.

Though Marty has never left his valley and can barely lift a blacksmith's hammer, he vows to help gather the eight crystals needed to free Lila. 

Now, many years have passed and the pair's journey is coming to an end when Marty inconveniently falls in love with the hollow voice of a girl he's never met. 

But as the fateful day approaches, will Marty be able to muster the courage to not only get the last crystal, but to confess his true feelings to Lila?
