Stephen Parry, cold, remorseless Cumbrian, and Michael O'Leary, charismatic, literate Irishman, are professional assassins. Publicly denied, their profession is an essential component of world politics. Assassinations, commissioned by quietly spoken people in suits, are carried out with cool efficient detachment. This changes however, when the assassins confront an apocalyptic horror, casually undertaken by the elite, which dramatically polarises their previous political disinterest.
