Once, a kingdom was made happy by the singing of a magic heart -- until the dread day when Dame Wiggleditch washed the heart out of the king's castle so that she could have it to herself.
The king sends his most trusted knights, but flying dishes of baked ham, hot quince pie, and fried partridge sent out by the clever Dame divert them from their quest. And so the king, in the guise of a hermit, must set out to restore the heart to his kingdom himself. And once he does, though not without some difficulty:
"The heart's song continued loud and strong.
FA LA LA LA LA LA!
King Bagdemoogus and his people listened together, hard. And truly, just as long as they listened the Kingdom prospered and life was good."
