Building technology supply chains by China in Pakistan is a win win situation for not only the region but the world. With increasing economic clout, Pakistan can greatly influence the region towards long term and sustainable peace. For example, Afghanistan may become a stable country itself with an economically prospering neighbor in Pakistan. India would gain as well with greater trade links with Pakistan. World GDP would rise significantly as Asian region adds significant economic value to global economy. And all this and a peaceful South Asian region would be a precursor to greater value for global peace and security that is a goal missed by NATO and Pentagon because good economics leads to sustainable peace and not necessarily boots on ground.
