The National Kite Flyer's Club has chosen Frostfall Island for their annual summer kite fair. The island is busy with tourists and kite enthusiasts. Anna St. James is looking forward to the weekend, even though her boyfriend, Nate, will be spending the days mountain biking on the mainland.
A mysterious boat anchored offshore has a few of the locals worried, but Anna is sure there's nothing to it until the festive kite fair takes a dark turn when one of the members is found dead. Anna was sure it would be an enjoyable few days, but now she's wrapped up in a murder case. Except... the shocking murder might be the least stunning part of her weekend.
