I had two options, first, to hand over myself to the police or to be on the run for as long as I can. Both options were not favorable to me, double murder will get me life in prison and being on the run will get me killed.

I wanted to take my chances. It has been six grueling days on the streets, dirty and stressed. Sometimes, I paid sex workers just to sleep in their beds overnight. Other times, I slept in abandoned houses.

I did not trust anyone. My story spread all over. I heard different versions of how I had murdered my wife and his boyfriend. Some people sympathized with me while others thought me as a coward who should be arrested, thrown in jail and the keys thrown away.
