In online chat boxes it is more true today that abusers and predators are present there and thus it is the responsibility of every parent to monitor the online activities of their children. Nevertheless, in mid 1990s when online chat was a new thing in Pakistan, we as young boys would try to find a suitable girl there. Though I have never used online chatting platforms, I know the joke when one of your friends takes up an avatar of a girl and use all insider information to play a serious prank with the other friend by making him actually believe that the online avatar is of the pretiest girl in the university and that she had a great crush on the one who is trapped into this trick.
