War has come to Segen, leaving Aislin little time to settle into her new duties. Accompanying Lord Arclac to Ravenwood, the two are met by a hostile Council that barely can agree on a path forward. Barely avoiding imprisonment, Aislin quickly retreats for the familiar territory of Teorainn, but it's far from the same place that she left.
