Drawing inspiration from the life stories of ExJW youths, Hail Santa! is a coming of age tale set in the restrictive boundaries imposed by the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Hezekiah "Kai" Whitman is an average teenage boy, with just a few exceptions. He's a second generation Jehovah's Witness, freshly baptized, and like so many others caught between religion and reality, he's struggling with his sexuality.
