Who can resist a spooky old house on Halloween? Not Petal or her best friend Megan. After taking their siblings trick or treating, the two of them join their other best friend Laken and head to Willow Lane. They find they aren't the only ones who've decided to check out the house. Though the classmates already there aren't particularly nice to misfits Petal, Megan, and Laken at school, the three of them refuse to be intimidated into leaving. Is the old house really haunted? Are there ghosts, witches, and black cats waiting to burst forth at midnight and scare them all half to death? There's no way to find out unless they accept the famous midnight challenge.
