This book comprises eight chapters pertaining to recent findings of academicians and students of the Faculty of Fisheries and Food Science, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. It covers a broad field of study that includes ecology, water quality, fish diversity, aquatic biology, microbiology and social economy. The book is compact, practical and will be of benefit to students and researchers, especially in keeping up with the most recent findings and techniques. The aims of this book are to share the research conducted within the faculty with others, to provide useful insights and to initiate the generation of new ideas.
