Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride is in the class of fluoroquinolone anti-infection agents. Other fluoroquinolone anti-infection agents incorporate levofloxacin, ofloxacin, and moxifloxacin. You might see or hear this medication alluded to by the brand name, Cipro, which is made by Bayer.
