Sometimes, when you win, you lose.

Used to volunteer work, bake sales, and thrifting, life as Samantha knows it fireballs out of control with one little lottery ticket. Emotions boil over under new pressures as she does her best to get clear of the smoke and have a little fun.

However, the powers that be make it clear nothing will be the same again—her old life is gone. But Sam doesn't want things to change. This is her home, where she grew up, went to school, fell in and out of love... Desperate to do everything right for everyone else, she finds herself suffocating in her old bungalow with only her cat for company.
