When her nightmare comes to life, eighth grader Penny Preston saves herself by creating a trans-dimensional rift and instigating a food fight. Instead of being suspended, Penny learns she is misaligned. She exists in more than three dimensions. Without training she’ll go insane. She secretly trains with Mr. Myrdin and his raven, Master Poe, an exile from the seventh dimension and learns that she is the key to preventing higher-dimensional beings from entering our universe with god-like powers. Using ancient artifacts, their agent covertly opposes Penny and Mr. Myrdin.

Together with Simon, her multi-dimensional cat, Penny struggles to save her relationship with her best friend, protect her universe, and uncover Mr. Myrdin’s connection to Celtic legend.
