Euan can call fire as easily as breathing, but can he control it?

Orphaned at fourteen, Euan raises his seven younger siblings, all of them powerful wild-o-lights who draw their magic from the fire mountain, Cnoc Teine. Euan fills a woman's role in the pre-Roman Celtic matriarchal society until word gets to the ruling Banduri druidesses that the power of Cnoc Teine is no longer guarded by his mother. When the Banduri come to claim Cnoc Teine for themselves, Euan risks both life and freedom to save his family.
