This essay treats perceptive reality in construction through the subject of understanding. We changed our lives, taking others' rots, creating trails, developing our intent in time, and making choices before any options, any chiefly thing. It avoids a dangerous world but, thus, follows to sea in search of our hope. Far from home, country, and community, we are no longer ourselves who seek a return.
The distance comes from philosophy in that the ideologies are treated with measure, and here is an existential form where a place is not a spatial figuration but assertive that all space is a refuge of all space. The universe, said Parmenides, is ahead in our hands. Here is there, too. A path is again constructed with each step.
