"The November Deep" is the first in a series of adventures featuring the new Canadian character, Nell Fitzgerald O'Donovan — an intuitive red-head with savvy and sparkle and a knack for solving problems.

Following a brief introduction to Nell at her home on Galiano Island's rugged north coast, an unexpected telephone call brings her a strange new assignment. She is urgently required on the site of a multi-million dollar astrophysics laboratory in Sudbury, Ontario. The facility, located deep in an abandonned nickel mine, is being subtly sabotaged by a member of an elite scientific community — and it's Nell's job to figure out who.

Here, in the mysterious underground world of the neutrino hunters, Nell struggles to gain insight into the dark intent of a disturbed and unknown mind.

The unusual plot and made-for-movie action are balanced by credible characters and superb attention to detail. Like others before you, you will read this thoughtful drama in a single sitting, secure in the knowledge that there are more adventures to come.
