Tyrell Blackhawk is home and staying at the lodge his brother Devon owns. Recovering from wounds that would have proved fatal for a mortal man, he's impatient and gruff, not at all easy to live around. Needing help isn't something he accepts easily so hiring a private physical therapist goes against the grain, especially a sassy and very feminine one like Page. Acting like a wounded wolf, the sparring match begins.

Nadia stumbles into the Blackhawk lodge when her grandmother insists on stopping for a few days enroute home. She loves her grandmother but isn't at all happy with the delay. Unable to find a model for a client's blitz that will cement her place in the family business, Nadia needs to be in New York.
