Set in Athens in 432 B.C., during the reign of Governor Pericles, the city is in high spirits. Hades, god of the Underworld, descends upon Athens, curious to discover how people truly feel about him. And who better than the philosopher Socrates to provide the god with the answers he seeks?


But when gods intervene in the affairs of mortals, chaos ensues. Hades ultimately finds himself falling in love with a mortal- the beautiful Hippareti who is set to marry the charming (yet philandering) Alciviades.
