Joanna's ultimate goal is to write and illustrate children's book. But before she can complete the two children's books that she's been working on, Joanna decided that this book of reflective poetry and sketcher about her recovery from domestic abuse needed first priority. By sharing her story through poems and sketches, she hopes to inspire others in similar situations to use a creative process of healing.
