Some say love is magical but for Pauline nothing is ever that simple. For her love is a gateway drug to heaven and hell. At the start of her second year of University she met Carina one day on campus. Pauline was low and searching for salvation in all the wrong places. Suddenly there was Carina, who was never part of the fairytale and certainly no angel. Through their topsy-turvy relationship and other people met along the way Pauline learns about love, hate, forgiveness and what happens when you follow your heart. Carina can't follow her own advice though and doesn't know when to listen to others.
