Adam Petty's Heartbeat is about a Race Car driver that went and visited a camp for sick children and came back home to Level Cross, NC to build a camp for sick children. The children that come to Victory Junction come to climb wooden towers for the first time or ride on a zip line for the very first time. The camp is supported by Race Car drivers and the Petty family. Each child that comes to camp for a week in the Summer time, has a one on one volunteer with them. They have houses that are set up to take care of the children and the volunteers that work with them. The showers are set up for wheelchairs. There is a pool with a warm room for children that are taking Chemotherapy, while the are at camp. These children range from Chemotherapy patients, diabetic patients, Autistic children, and others. There is a Doctor and a Nurse on the property, while campers are there.
