This is an intentionally fictional account of the American Revolutionary War traitor, Benedict Arnold. I have taken what I could learn from the historical records and woven a fictional story around those records. In fact, there are lessons to be learned from this man.

Success is not always a sign of greatness.

Success without humility might lead to a terrible fall.

The pursuit of happiness and the pursuit of success are not often the same. Choose wisely.

The Bible tells us, Proverbs 14:12 (KJV),

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

The greatest wealth is found in the contentment of godliness. 1 Timothy 6:6 (KJV),

"But godliness with contentment is great gain."
