Elizabeth stood up from the bed to get a cup of water, since her throat suddenly seems dry. The kitchen wasn't that much of a distance to the room. She lived in an apartment with her mom, sister and her younger brother.

Elizabeth had always wanted a room of her own. She wished she could just be left alone. But the Lord had once told her that he doesn't need a physical room for him to speak to her. "Make a room for me in your heart."

But from her past experiences, she had learnt that God sometimes allows us to pass through difficulties to bring out who we are.

Life had actually tried her patience times without number, but the Lord has helped sustain it.

"Alright, Holy Spirit, let's talk!" Elizabeth said wearing the look of that repentant sinner, after listening to a long sermon that spoke of Christ crucifixion.

"But daddy you know, I'm just tired, I have tried hard enough."
