When Logan McAllister, a high school senior team roper from Wyoming, surfed the internet, all he wanted to find was a girl with heart and soul to talk to. Skylar Alexander, a high school junior equestrian from Arizona, wanted a friend she could believe in again. Neither of them knew where their first conversation would lead. As Logan competed in rodeos across Wyoming with his roping partner, Jim Abernathy, Skylar blazed through the show arenas in multiple states toward a World Championship with Ben Adkins, her older mentor, who eventually convinced her to work in Italy with him to further his own career. Tragic circumstances bring Skylar home to face an uncertain future.
