Sun Pipes for the Dreamers tells the story of Ramon, a graduate student who is left paralyzed when an inoxicated, off duty police officer crashes into his motorcycle. While in hospital, in a long drug-induced coma, Ramon begins to have complex and inexplicable dreams. He discovers that in his Dream Body, he can travel to any place or time to observe and subjectively experience any point in another person's life.

Sun Pipes for the Dreamers is unique in that each chapter has a corresponding song to go with it. As a listening experience, Sun Pipes for the Dreamers alternates story and music in such a way as to absorb the listener into the feelings and emotions of the story.
