The world today is beset with too many conflicts and dangers.

The two most frightening words are: "Aggressiveness" and "Arrogance".

They describe the terrible human behaviours that are threatening the survival of Planet Earth and the human species.

Then, there is this fearsome word "NATO" that represents the most powerful military force in the world centred around the vast North Atlantic Ocean. It literally has the sheer fire power and nuclear power to bring the whole world to an end.

What ails the world today are aggressiveness, arrogance and hegemony.

It is everybody's responsibility to see that these terrible attitudes, behaviours and ideas are not the prevailing attributes of the politicians we put in power.

Where there is frequent elections, people must vote wisely to put responsible people in government.

Where there are other systems of government and appointment of national leaders, it is still the people's responsibility to ensure that their leaders understand the dangers of aggressiveness and arrogance to their own countries and to the world at large.

Ultimately, we also deserve the governments we have, whether good or bad, clean or corrupt, beneficial or dangerous.

It all depends on how we decide.

It all depends on how we choose.
