You are about to enter a magical place called 'The Deep Woods'. Here the animals are free from the dangers of humans. You will get to know them and enjoy how they interact with one another. Sammy the skunk becomes their hero as he helps them through each funny and serious situation they encounter.

As a former teacher, the Sammy stories began when one of her students asked if she would tell a story about a little skunk. From these stories came, 'The Adventures of Sammy the Skunk'. There are eighteen stories with 'Life Lessons' at the end of each story.

Each life lesson pertains to something that has happened in the story. It includes a question for children to think about, a scripture verse, a truth about God, and a short message about the love God has for His children.
