Lennie Chesterfield is a single 26-year-old computer programmer who lives alone in a fancy apartment complex that caters to young people like himself. Unfortunately, his elderly grandfather, with whom he is close, is in the hospital with a dim prognosis. On Christmas day, Lennie gets a package from his only relative, his cousin on the other side of town. Lennie rarely communicates with him and is surprised and overwhelmed at the expensive gift he sent. But like a famous ancient wooden horse gifted with unexpected contents, Lennie's gift may prove too much for him to appreciate.
