Killian Remus is a small town sheriff in Hungry Horse County in Montana, who has his hands full. Illegal drugs are being distrubated, his ex-wife has become involved with a shady rich rancher, possibly putting their twins in danger. A beautiful young doctor comes into his town and is a tempation Killian isn't sure he can afford. Events begin twisting together, leaving Killian with hard decisions to make about being a sheriff, father, friend and a lover in a crucial time where mistakes canbe deadly.
