Tiburcio Vasquez was more than eager to speak with me and readily smiled as I approached his cell. There was a disarming nature about him, something that instantly made you feel relaxed in his presence.
It was quite jarring and contradictory considering why he was locked up here. I couldn't imagine an outlaw like him to be this cordial and polite. Such contradictions were noticeable the first time you would see Vasquez. Despite his ready and eager smile, Vasquez did look intimidating, if he wanted to. The gunslinger easily towered over me and cut a very fearsome visage with his thick moustache beard and penetrating eyes.
It was amazing how he could effortlessly put aside this intimidating countenance and suddenly appear cordial and friendly with his smile and hospitable words.
