Avril had always dreamed of owning her own stationery shop. Now she was seeing it come true but of course not without obstacles getting in her way. Her dream location was on the boardwalk where all the trendy shops were located. The problem with this was that Calico was known for its pop up storms. The boardwalk always got the brunt of it. Avril was not going to let that stand in her way.

Avril meets architect Carter, that could do the job of building her shop on the boardwalk. But not all goes well. Like the best laid plans, things go wrong more often than none.

Along this bumpy journey, Avril and Carter become more than customer and client. They experience some more bumps along the way that changes more than the plans of Avril's dream.
