All good polyps (at least those from good families) live sedately attached to rocks and coral causing problems for no one. But they first go through a young larvae stage where they swim freely before feeling the urge to settle down forever in one spot. In this story Pater and Mater watch anxiously as their offspring, Junior, drifts about getting into trouble and not listening to their wise advice. After giving the young larvae the 'Talk' in preparation for his maturing into a polyp, young Junior seems to settle down and decorate a rock for his permanent future home. But then Junior has tasted freedom and seems reluctant to leave it. Listen and see in this imaginative story how youth causes problems for their elders since the Paleozoic era. And probably before that. Junior decides there is a lot of the ocean he has not seen and won't be told to 'settle down'.
