The anthology has 20 Chinese poets writing in Chinese language and accompanying translations into English, 1 poet from Inner Mongolia, 2 from Turkey, 4 from India and the diasporas, and 23 African artists and poets from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, and Ghana, all dissecting woman's agency, existence and identity in the religious and cultural limitations of the 21st century Africa and Asia.
