Stacy Vaughn wants a horse, but not just any horse. She wants the wild Appaloosa that's for sale at the stable where she takes riding lessons. The gelding is for sale because no one can get near him. Her future stepfather helps her purchase the horse on a trial basis. She has until the end of summer to prove to her mother that he's not too much horse for her.
