After two failed relationships, Mel's life is starting to look pretty good. Tom really seems to be the perfect guy; he's handsome, smart and she can't complain at all about their sex life.

But after a couple of months things start to change dramatically; he proves to be a workaholic, his mother is a nightmare and they almost never meet in bed anymore. Yet she's determined to rekindle the passion between them and to make Tom's mom like her. It shouldn't be that hard, right?

But things get really crazy when that obnoxious new colleague of Tom starts flirting with him, and to make things even worse, Ven, an old friend of Mel reappears into her life from nowhere.
