Donkey Ollie's brothers leave Farmer John's small farm to join a gang of marauding donkeys. They are captured while raiding a farm for carrots. Donkey Ollie leaves to find them and end up being captured as well and sent to the Roman Coliseum to fight in the ring with the Lions. Rupert the Raven, Donkey Ollie's best friend flies around asking questions and finds out where him friends were taken. He organizes a rescue team lead by Donkey Ollie's friend Jehu. They all go to Rome, hoping they still have time to save the donkeys. This Donkey Ollie Adventure introduces new characters: Hannibal, Theopoliis, Smoothfeather and shows what it is like to stand before an Emperor and speak out for truth and justice.
