Planet Earth is heating up. Global warming is converting the soluble methane trapped in melting ice and in the oceans into gas. Two thirds of the planet is covered by oceans resulting in unlimited quantities of methane gas being released into the atmosphere. Methan gas needs oxygen to burn. The combined effect of methane gas and oxygen will produce fire-storms world-wide, incinerating everything in their path. Oxygen will be depleted. Oxygen-breathing land animals, including humanity, will face extinction. We do not have the science or technology to reverse this process. Can humanity escape this nightmare scenario?
