Rock guitarist Nick Davies has just wrapped up a successful U.S. tour and plans to celebrate his favorite way – by taking a beautiful woman to bed. Cruising the hottest NYC nightclub, he's mesmerized by a flame-haired, green-eyed goddess. Normally, all Nick has to do is crook his finger and a woman comes running, but not this one.

Aisling Waycross doesn't have time for a well-known womanizer like Nick Davies. After her fiancé cheated on her four years ago, Aisling swore no man would break her heart again. Now a successful television producer, she has little room in her busy life for romance, let alone the one-night-stand she's sure Nick wants.

But when Nick shows up at her TV studio begging for a date, Aisling surprises herself by agreeing. There's a vulnerability about him – a stark contrast to the cocky confidence he projects.
