Lib is thirteen years old. At the end of the long vacation, she receives a mysterious letter from her grandmother, the physicist and strange inventor, Evelyn Zemanhoff, through a law firm, informing her that she has been kidnapped. The letter sends her, along with her mother Milly, to France, to meet a mysterious prince from the past.
