Being different isn't easy and like most kids her age, Malashia is trying to learn to embrace those differences. Not understanding the powers her hair possesses, she's met with a pleasant surprise. She realizes what she thought was an imperfection, is her superpower! Through 'wash day' and her natural hair journey, she finds confidence and more importantly, the magic of her hair.

Wash day, although necessary and a cultural staple in many Black homes can feel more tedious and dreadful than glorious and relaxing. Through this book, I aim to make wash day a little easier through education and entertainment for the entire family.

Each book includes a natural hair glossary and detailed wash day instructions for children and their communities.
